Created by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), this is an elementary curriculum of 50 sequential lessons (25 for grades K-2 and 25 for grades 3-5) that helps children build a strong foundation for analyzing and confronting bias. The materials have been designed to assist educators and students in exploring ways to ensure that the principles of respect for diversity, freedom, and equality become realities. The curriculum is divided into five instructional units:

Unit 1: Creating a Safe and Comfortable Classroom Environment
Unit 2: Understanding My Strengths, Skills, and Identity
Unit 3: Understanding and Appreciating Differences
Unit 4: Understanding Bias and Discrimination
Unit 5: Confronting/Challenging Bias and Bullying

Lesson features include Common Core alignment, flipped classroom ideas, extension activities, and recommended children’s books.
